Since updating, when I kill the X server with Ctrl+Alt+Bkspc, or when

I have not been able to narrow down this problem yet. I am trying to
avoid rolling back to a previous version of gnome or using a different
desktop + window manager instead, because it's becoming a real issue.
I can end the session no problem if I do it within the first few
minutes of it starting. If I leave it run for a while, even if I do
nothing at all, then it will hang. Does anybody have any advice on
where to look? Log files? Etc?
Thanks,
Jason
