Hi all,
With earlier versions of File Roller, one could open files with "Open" or "View With" in the RMB context menu. However, with v2.22.2, under Ubuntu 8.04, no applications are listed, such as Gedit, which I use a lot for viewing text files before saving to disk.
Where should I file a bug report? At Ubuntu's Launchpad or upstream at Gnome bugzilla? Also, is it an issue with File Roller or some MIME settings somewhere?
These are very common bug doubts. So, I suggest a debugging system to try the problem in different environments (i.e. try the bug in KDE). As much automatized the debugging and bug-report, the best.
Regards.
