How do we add gnome-applet to the panel during installation of that applet

Hi,

I would like to know how we can add a gnome-applet to gnome-panel when we
install that particular applet. I have created my applet. I just want to
make it available on the panel for all the users during installation,
instead of using Add to panel method. I would appreciate if somebody can
help me on this.
