Hi all,
I have been having
> Could not find mime type
> application/octet-stream
warnings recently.
A bit more poking around has brought up this important bit of info...
In Konqueror file associations/applications there is an ebtry for octet-stream
on one of my linux boxes. On the one with the problem it is absent! (We were
looking for problems with the ogg entries that I played with but they looked
fine).
There is no description besides "unknown" or any other entry for this
octet-stream on the "working" linux system. General/embedding tabs show
nothing.
I must assume this is the missing mime type that is causing the warning
messages (Duh!).
What steps should I take to get this thing working properly again??
Thanks,
Waz
