Oops, you're right, ~/.config/menus
Backup/save/rename whatever. The point is that redhat's (previous) menu
setup is pretty much FUBAR'd.
For you and others interested in letting redhat know to remove the hackery:
"kdelibs: drop kde-applications.menu, use $XDG_CONFIG_DIRS instead"
