Hello list.

I recently discovered the Knoppix CD. I can run it ok from the CD but
is there a way to perminently install it on my hard drive? During the
boot process there are several options but I can not fine one for
doing a perminent installtion. Anyone have any ideas? I would like to
had just Knoppix only as an OS on this PC.

As far as I know there's such an option available from the running system -
an icon on the KDE desktop I think.
Another LiveCD worth installing with a good installer will be
(k)ubuntu 6.04- try it out (the betas are quite stable now).

Mepis is also a good one. As I remember you get the install option at boot or
in the form of a desktop icon.
