[kde-linux] Problem when switching virtual desktop

Hi all.

I've the following configuration:

Linux Kernel: 2.6.10-6-386
Processor: i686
Distribution: Kubuntu Hoary
KDE version: 3.4.0

Any time a switch virtual desktop (Ctrl-Tab), some non-KDE applications
(like Firefox or gvim) crash due to a SIGSEGV signal.

This problem is particularly annoying because I can't use more than one
virtual desktop...

I googled for some solution, but I couldn't find any.

Does anybody have some suggestion ?
