Hi, what is the Kmenu executable called and where can I generally find
it? Also where does KDE store its .desktop entry files for the majority
of items on the kmenu?
The K-Menu is part of the kicker executable (the panel)
The files on KDE 3.4 follow the freedesktop.org menu specification
$ kde-config --path xdgdata-apps
legacy applications and older KDE versions use this paths
$ kde-config --path apps
Cheers,
Kevin
P.S. it is usually better to post new questions in a thread of their own, not
