[kde-linux] dvd-rom uri

I have a Fedora Core 4 machine, Linux kernel 2.6, and KDE 3.2. When I try to play a DVD through totem I get a message saying something along the lines that the dvd:// URI is not valid. I check all the settings in Totem and they look to be correct, so what can I do?___________________________________________________
