[kde-linux] Konqueror 3.5.3 fails to log in

I upgraded to KDE 3.5.2 this weekend. Since I did, Konqueror seems unable to
log in to certain portal pages, Yahoo and Google, for instance. When I try
Yahoo, I get:
An error occurred while loading https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2?:
The process for the https://login.yahoo.com protocol died unexpectedly.
When I try Google, I get:
An error occurred while loading http://google.com/ig:
The process for the https://www.google.com protocol died unexpectedly.
Does anybody have an idea as to what is causing this? I got Slackware 10.2
packages directly from the KDE download site. In KDE 3.5.2 all of this worked
fine. But those packages were compiled from source. I can always compile
again, but I was hoping the packages would just work.
