I don't know exactly how it works, and I'm not sure to understand what
you want, but when kde apps hangs and claims about dcop server, I simply
remove my ~/.DCOP* files.

I need dcop commands for my kommander app, but I cannot figure out what the
parameters to dcop ksmserver mean exactly. There are three parameters, what
do they mean?
#this sort of shuts down computer:
dcop ksmserver default logout 0 -1 -1
#this one reboots
dcop ksmserver default logout 0 1 0
How do I simply end current session?
More questions:
Is there a way to use dcop to restart kdm without using administrator rights?
