Hello. I have a problem with Hotkeys. I have Logitech Internet Pro
keyboard. It have a few additional keys, you know, to open web browser,
e-mail, volume adjust, etc. My problem is that I can't assign these keys
to any program. I used the tool for the Hot Keys, but when I press
button for WWW, nothing happens. When I'm pressing any other button, ie.
"T" letter, it works. Anyone knows how to make it work? Big Thanks.

Hi,

Go to a text console (not a console window in a GUI), log on as root and type:
tail -f /var/log/messages

And then press those keys that are not recognized in you GUI. See if they're
logged as unknown key presses by the kernel. If they are, use setkeycodes to
register them. Put the setkeycodes commands in your rc.local to get them
executed every time you boot. Then you'll be able to use these keys in
shortcuts.
Some keys are not detected by the kernel at all and, in this case, I do not
know how to use them in Linux.
