[kde-linux] how to upgrade kde-2.1 to kde-3.0 on redhat 9

helo i m goign toi devlop important application. so i cant use fedora core 5
right now i m uisn gkde-2.1 ,qt-3.3.0 on redhat enterprise linux -9
now i want to upgrade kde-2.1 to 3.3 or kde 3
can u tell me how to upgrade it step by step
