Whenever I start Kontact, the KOrganizer daemon starts. I
don't use it and don't want it. I can't find any options to
keep it from starting, though. How do I keep it from starting
with Kontact?

It is. I selected it and re-selected it. Still starts whenever I run
Kontact.

I found a similar problem with kmail--I now start kmail with the complete path
(i.e., /usr/bin/kmail) and korganizer (I think that's what it was) no longer
starts. (Mandriva 2006, kde 3.4.2)
