Webcam: Lifetec LT9388 using ov511+, and well supported with Linux.
Test distro: Kubuntu 5.10
Kernel: 2.6.12-10-386

Kopete is an all-purpose, multi-protocol messenging system. I don't
think it can use webcams. However, you can use amsn (Aldo's MeSseNger)
which is able to behave almost like MSN - webcam included. It works well
once you've configured port redirection on your routers.
