Hi all,A better approach would be to edit the global KDE configuration files
How to set up a default desktop configuration, to be added to the $HOME of
every new user?
(under /etc/kde3 on Debian, but perhaps somewhere else on other distros).
Every setting that can be configured in the files under ~/.kde/share/config/
can be given a default in these global files, and can even be locked down so
that users cannot change it, if you wish. There is some useful documentation
at http://www.kde.org/areas/sysadmin/. You may also find the Kiosk tool
useful.
