Is it possible to get icons for a pdf file to preview the content? I
ask because I currently have to fire up windows on my laptop to
browse a directory of pdf design files. I can open them in linux,
but since they are only identified by a number I can't tell which one
I need to open.
In the KDE Control Center choose KDE Components/File Manager and click
on the Behavior tab. Then click "Show file tips" and "Show previews in
file tips". All of my pdf file icons reflect their content in Konqueror
with these settings enabled.
