Check if you have .desktop file in /usr/share/applications

Or, more precisely, in the paths returned by
% kde-config --path xdgdata-apps

and .menu files in the paths returned by
% kde-config --path xdgconf-menu

If you do, try

% kbuildsycoca --noincremental
