The text in square brackets [ ] was translated to English. Note that
I've tried erasing the ~/.kde/share/apps/kopete directory, and even
reinstalling Kopete, but neither helped. Kopete did previously work on
this machine. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
I have the same trouble, on a desktop. It loads and open, but when I try
to connect to a msn account i get the same

kopete: ERROR: : couldn't create slave : [cannot start protocol]:
klauncher [unknown protocol] "".

KCrash: Application 'kopete' crashing...


KUbuntu Gutsy, kde 3.5.8 too. When I installed kubuntu, it worked well
for two days and now do not work any more.
