Hmm. There could be a .desktop file pointing at a wrong location.
I was not able to find any lyx.desktop file
I have noticed that 'Location' in the konqueror 'file
associations' 'properties' panel, is set to .kde/share/applnk/.hidden
Is that correct?
I am puzzled about the meaning of some properties in the 'general settings'
section.
