[kde-linux] setting kfind defaults?

Howdy,

I'd like to set specific defaults for kfind.

1. First default is to have the "Named" box blank when I open kfind,
rather than whatever was entered the last time it was used.

2. Second default is to have the "Look in" box set to "/" instead of
"file:///home/myname"

I looked in the konsole man page (kfind --help-all) as well as KDE's
"Finding files" pages, yet (unless I missed it) could find nothing
about setting these defaults.

I looked at the kfindrc file (dotkde > share > config > kfindrc) and
saw the "Open-with settings" section. I put variations of the
expressions ("Open-with settings" and "CompletionMode=5" and
"History=kwrite %U") into the KDE Help Center search, both Contents
and Glossary, and found nothing, or nothing useful.

Did a search on Google with similar results. I also searched the "kde"
and "kde-linux" lists but only found posts from bugs, core, quality
and commits.

Appreciate any help.

Thanks.

System: Debian Etch 4.0r3 with KDE 3.5.5
