In my Debian, I find no difference between the current KDE 3.5.9 and the
former 3.5.8 regarding colours. The colours of the scroll bars are the same
as those of the "push buttons".

Also, the way of changing the colours in the control centre is the same as
it used to (so I think that it does not matter whether 3.5.9 comes from a
fresh install or from an upgrade).

Are you using a "tuned" Linux distribution?


The old ~/.kde folder has followed me around since Fedora Core 3, or
thereabouts. It's been through a few RedHat-based distros, and two
Debian-based distros. So this time I decided to start over, and I'm
trying to recreate what I can from scratch.
