No offense, but maybe you should pop a few pills and chill out? You seem
a bit high-strung and incapable of using software that my mum uses day-in

Not to be rude, but since you mentioned it....Is she a programmer? Did you
do a FC8->FC9 upgrade? Or did you do the upgrade for her. Is she a
one-app-at-a-time kind of person who doesn't know any better? Or when
she encounters legitimate bugs do you tell her: "I know a six year old who
can run this software day-in and day-out!" ?
family LAN of several machines with 3 different distros installed. I do all
sysadmin work for the LAN. I run many applications at once on any machine
that has the power to do so. I run KDE4 on one laptop that is 6 years old
and so underpowered that it is unbelievable that it actually works.
