[kde-linux] how to create relative path symlinks from konqueror?

Hi all,

I'm using KDE3.5.9 on gentoo. Is there a way to create relative path symlinks
from Konqueror?

Currently, if I drag and drop a file while holding Ctrl + Shift, a symlink
with absolute path is created.

I need to create relative path symlinks on a ext2 based SD card which gets
mounted at different base path on different machines :/
