I'm trying to bind the "Web/Home" key of my keyboard so it starts
Firefox when I press it. Works fine in KDE 3. In KDE 4.2.0, I get this
instead:
"The key you just pressed isn't supported by Qt"
All the other buttons work just fine (Back, Forward, Stop, Mail, Search,
Favorited, My Computer, Calculator, Sleep). The Web/Home key is the
only exception.
Anything I can do about it?
Now I'm on KDE 4.2.1 with Qt 4.5.0, and the problem remains.
I discovered that some shortcuts that aren't working for me are due to
this bug. For example, "Alt+Print" is supposed to take a screenshot of
the active window, and "Alt+Shift+F12" should "suspend compositing".
They both don't work. Trying to assign them in the shortcut editor
results in "the key you just pressed isn't supported by Qt."
Can someone confirm this problem? Please try "Alt+Print" and
"Alt+Shift+F12" in the shortcut editor and if you get the same message,
please confirm the bug:
