I have OS installed on SSD.
My /home directory is on SSD, too.
I use KDE 4.4.5.
Everything big is on NFS mounted inside my home dir.
Is it possible to set KDE to make and use trash bin on each filesystem
separately, avoiding copying between partitions, disks and network storage?
In general, I don't think so. The "~/.local/share/Trash" is a freedesktop.org
standard. In addition, user's may not have the ability to create/modify
.Trash in some other location.
In your case, this is clearly no true, and it would be a great help to have
per-file-system trash bin, but I don't think that there is support for your
case in current mainline.
