No, I am not going to reinstall KDE-Office just to get the latest krita
available. I would rather just install a new distro somewhwere. It is
less work.

Slackware 13.1 has Krita 2.1.2. But it is part of the 2.1.1 Koffice
package. If you are happy to install a new distro, why not just replace
Slack 13.0 with 13.1.
