[PROBLEM] 2.6.0-test11: USB freezes after gnome-pilot

Hi! This is my first bug report to this list, so please excuse me if I
omit important information, or make the message too big.

I'm running 2.6.0-test11, and I have a Palm M515 connected thru the USB
cradle. I can sync from/to the Palm with pilot-link, but if I try to run
gnome-pilot, the USB subsystem "freezes": gnome-pilot stays in
"uninterruptible sleep" and can't be killed, my USB mouse stops working,
and cat /proc/bus/usb/devices freezes forever. I have to reboot so that
    it will work again.

I'm attaching the output of dmesg, of 'scripts/ver_linux', of 'cat
/proc/bus/usb/devices' and of 'strace gnome-pilot'. BTW, I passed the
"noapic" option to the kernel. If you need more info, please CC: me as I
    don't subscribe to lkml.

    TIA,
    Daniel Serodio
