    Hmm, it looks like something strange is going on. Perhaps the serial driver
    isn't matching to the device. Could I see the output of the following:

    #mkdir /sys
    #mount -t sysfs none /sys
    #cd /sys/bus/pnp/devices
    #find */* | xargs cat <------
