I think people stopped counting the credits a long time ago.

You argue about nomenclature. What I have definitely calls itself
cdrecord and is definitely based on your code.
Perhaps, though, it's time that the Linux distributions and also FreeBSD
and others who feel the need to patch cdrecord forked it and called it
something different.
