2.6.16-rc5 broken on Intel Core Duo CPU's ?

Hi.
Can anyone confirm that 2.6.16-rc5 boots on Intel Core Duo CPU's ?
Something changed from 2.6.16-rc4 to 2.6.16-rc5 which makes the
kernel unbootable on my Intel iMac.
