Can't play video DVD

    After installing RH9 I tried Xine and was unable to see a film on DVD.
    I installed Ogle and videolan and mplayer. Nothing works properly. As i'm far from an expert, evidently there are some errors in the soft installation: liddvdread ? libdvdcss ? ... ?
    What's to be done ? uninstall everything ? and what is the best plan
