Hi Didier,
Thank you for your great help. But I think I am about
to give up.
1) If there is no redhat version driver of my printer,
that would mean I cannot use that printer as my
Network printer by using cups and printer
configuration?
2) Isn't that printer configured as a Samba printer?
So for what reason I need to install the printer
driver in my redhat? Sorry I don't mean to be bossy,
but I just could not understand the logic here.
3) I tried to add another printer (this time, redhat
has the driver for it). But when I sent a print job,
it failed and I found from /var/log/cups/error_log
that it said "ERRDOS -120 opening remote file hosts"
My command is lpr -P HP_LaserJet /etc/hosts. Please
enlighten me.
Thanks a lot and help me please.
