I have setup successfully BIND service in RedHat. I have also used nslookup to lookup IP address of a host in Intranet. It'ok.
But "ping <host>" does not work.
Help me why?
Here is my tracking of commands:
[root@server5 etc]# nslookup server3
Note: nslookup is deprecated and may be removed from future releases.
Consider using the `dig' or `host' programs instead. Run nslookup with
the `-sil[ent]' option to prevent this message from appearing.

[root@server5 etc]# ping server3
ping: unknown host server3
[root@server5 etc]#
