    Hey everyone,

Somethin weird happened on my box and the /etc/hosts file turned out to be
empty. I tried editing it but I keep getting : Input/Output error from
    bash..... any clues?

Dont think the file is there, so why cant i write to it?

    TIA,
    -vivek
