    I had the same problem just yesterday. Downloaded the RPM's from Redhat
    onto my Windows machine then FTP'd them to my linux box. It wasn't until
    later that I noticed the files had been renamed.I don't know if it was
    the extra characters or if the file format got changed, or possibly the
    files were just corrupted during the download. Whatever the case I ended
    up re-grabbing the files via FTP straight from my linux box and they
    installed with no problem.

    Had already tried with previous downloaded copies of the same files that
    didn't have those characters. Not sure why the second set got those
    names, there wasn't anything in the directory I downloaded to that would
    drive an automatic name change.
