Hello,
Occasionally on my laptop X will randomly fail to load whenever I boot
Linux. It seems to be random, but it's almost always guarenteed to boot
the next time. When it fails to load X, the computer just freezes and
the only way I can turn off the computer is to hold down the power
button. No key combinations work (Ctrl+Alt+Backspace, Ctrl+Alt+Delete).
Does anyone know what is going on and/or how to fix it?
My laptop is an IBM Thinkpad R32 and I'm running RedHat 9
Thanks
Daniel
