connecting linux to internet

    Hi,

    Can someone help me this issue:

    I am trying to connect my redhat 9 linux box to
    roadrunner in kansas city. i congigured my card with
    DHCP. However when i try to activate my eth0, i get
    the following message:

    SIOCSIFFLAGS: could not get get requested IP address.
