hi....
i've made a serious error in that i did a "mv" command and apparently i blew
away a number of directories. being still relatively new to linux commands,
i did a:
mv abc/d*.php *
thinking that i would move all the files d*.php to d*php in my current
directory... nope! it overwrote/erased the current files that existed in the
directory....
i need to know is there a reasonable way to restore/undelete/get back the
files... or do i jump off the nearest bridge!!!
serious help would be appreciated... in paritcular, any help from someone
that i could talk to... internet searches have discussed restoring
inodes/etc...
you know... now's the time when i could really use the window's norton
undelete utils!!!
thanks
bruce
