AFAIK, PuTTY is only an SSH client. there's another program in the putty
suite that does transfer files using scp (secure cp?) over an ssh
connection. I've never bothered using it - If I'm stuck on a windows box
then winscp does a fine job - http://winscp.sourceforge.net/
