Best Data sells a 56K external USB modem, which is a soft modem, that
supposedly works with linux. I was handed one of these, and to date,
even using their module, have had 0 luck getting RH 9 to recognize it's
existence. Has anyone had any success with one of these & would be
    willing to share their hints?

    Thanks
