Hi all,
I may have to re-install apache 2 using make/install method rather than rpm.
Do I have to uninstall the current installed apache2, using rpm -e? If so,
do I also need to uninstall all of the modules, i.e. php, all the *.so files
under /usr/lib/httpd/modules (which are also duplicated under
/etc/httpd/modules)?
And finally, I would like to tag one more question which seems like a big
puzzle with no clear answer. I have been looking for an all over the
internet and so far came up with nothing, except reinstall apache2 from
scratch.
I'm trying to install resin 2.1.11, and the compile fails with a complain that
a file is not found, yet the file is there, right where it should be, in
/usr/kerberos/include. I checked the file owner, it's root and I'm doing the
make as root, so there should be no problem with access privilege. So far
all my searches came up with no answer /:-(. If anyone could offer some clue
as to why I'd really appreciate it.
