kill forzen ipop3d

    Hello,
    Whenever any users get disconnected while downloading his/her email then ipop3d remains frozen and later don't
    let emails to access.
    Tried to kill the pid by using the command :
    kill 15574 (pid of ipop3d)
    killall ipop3d
    But didn't work. ipop3d still frozen.
    Small grep...:
    root@mailhost# ps -auxww | grep ipop3d
    godnovt 15574 72.2 1.6 8148 5460 ? R Feb28 6263:49 ipop3d
    root 5142 0.0 0.1 1392 492 pts/6 S 14:07 0:00 grep ipop3d
    root@mailhost#
