Hi,
I am using RH 9. I want to compile modules under the BOOT kernel. How do I
boot into the BOOT kernel? With RH 7.1, I just installed the kernel-BOOT
RPM and edited my /etc/lilo.conf. That won't work with RH 9.
My current /etc/lilo.conf looks like this:
prompt
timeout=50
default=linux
boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
message=/boot/message
linear
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.20-6
label=linux-up
initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.20-6.img
read-only
append="root=LABEL=/"
The file /boot/initrd-2.4.20-6BOOT.img does not exist, so I can't add a
section for the BOOT kernel like I used to.
Thanks!
