    OK,
    I logged in as root.
    I copied the gcc32-3.2.3-6.i386.rpm to my home
    directory from the third installation disk.

    I

    rpm -ivh/gcc32-3.2.3-6.i386.rpm
    ---------------------------------
    I get
    ----------------
    unknown option
    ----------------
