pls help

    i am able to recieve the mail in my mail box but not able to recieve the
    mail thorugh either pop3 or imap.

    what could be the problem

    this is my /var/log/syslog last lines

    my /var/log/maillog has following error , although i am giving login
    name and password but it is showing that i have not given any username
