While I'm currently not on RH9, this should still apply.
Ever thought of using a package like firestarter, which takes care of
setting up your firewall and will turn on IP forwarding from your LAN to the
outside world?
I use it and my internal PeeCee has no trouble getting to the outside.
Like you, my eth0 is DSL and eth1 is LAN.
