gconf errors

Hi all,
I'm not able to log into X session without selecting the session( KDE or gnome
or last session). Actually it was working with last session enabled . Now
only the session error happening. My default session is KDE. Whenever i
have to log in, i need to choose kde from the session. This is the error am
getting from .xsession-errors
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
gconf-sanity-check-2 did not pass, logging back out
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If anyone know , pls advice me how to sort it out.
