When I start samba (RHEL 3 EL) with "/etc/rc.d/init.d/smb start", two smbd
processes start up. When I run "smb stop", only 1 dies. So every time I
restart samba, one more rogue process remains running. Is there a more
elegant fix than running "smb stop" multiple times in succession? Thank
you.
