Security Updates with Oracle Installed

    I'm new to this list, so forgive me if this just passed.

    I have Oracle installed on a number of machines and Oracle demands
    that I not change original kernel, glibc, and compat files. How does
    RedHat deal with this? I mean there are security patches all the time
    so Oracle installations slip further and further behind.
